Fitting in, standing out

Different people want it differently. Some want nothing but to just blend into the crowd and be on of them. Be part of everyone else, nothing special, just another person. And some people want to stand out. They want to be different, be the blue in all the gray, stand above all those people and shine. Or just not be like them. Who do you want to be? Would you rather stand out, or fit in? Follow, or be followed? Create, or re-create? It's your life, you can choose. Depending on who you are, it might be hard. But if you want it enough, you'll make it.
What do I want? I'm pretty sure I've mentioned it an overwhelming number of times already, but this is my blog and I can say what I wish, however many times I wish. I want to be memorable. I don't necessarily want to be famous, although I think acting would be so fun. I don't necessarily want to be rich, although there are plenty of things I want to do in the future that might take a lot of money. But I want to be remembered by people I've never even met. Of course my friends and family will remember me, I am a part of their lives. I love every single one of my friends and family and I know I'll always remember them. But I want people to know who I am, in a good way. For good reasons. I want to be a good person and a great inspiration. Ok yeah, so I guess that's pretty much famous. But if that's what it means, then I want to be famous, but for the right reasons. I want to have earned it and used it for good. And I want it to be worth it.

As a parting gift for now, I leave you with this picture that defines my life. I love this quote because for me, it's completely true.:
I like this picture because, again, its true. You don't want to disappear, you want to be followed. You want to see who will follow you and come after you and take the time and effort to find you and make sure you're safe. You want to be reassured that you're important to people. And this is how I feel. And I love this because it's me... sad as it sounds.
