How about another poem..

I had something I was gonna write about, but when I logged in I totally forgot it.. Grrr. So I'll post another poem again.


This one is called Cry For Help. It's about not being selfish and helping others in the world. Unifying ourselves. It's kind of long.

I don’t know why you laugh
When you make me cry
I don’t know what’s so funny
When someone else dies

I no longer see the good
That was behind those evil eyes
But I can still see the truth
The hides behind the lies
Why do we sit around
And watch people die everyday
Why do we do nothing about it
Even when the sky is gray

There are many things in life
I will never understand
One of those things exactly
Is why lives always have to end

Why do you look at the starving people
And glare when the beg for food
Why do you think it’s proper
To give your elders an attitude?

Am I the only one in the world
That sees that things aren’t right?
Are we ever gonna do anything
To fix things up tight?

What’s it gonna take
To make you see your wrongs
How are you gonna fix it

Cause you know I’ve been right all along

Instead of laughing at the disabled
Why don’t we help them instead
How about we help them in their lives
And try to make them our friends

Through thick and through thin
We are united as one
As a country, as a planet
No matter how fast you run

Get out of the dark
And come into the light
And for once you’ll see
That you’re not always right

Quit covering the truth
Quit making up lies
Then maybe we’ll see the day
That nobody dies

Try being unbiased for once
You’ll feel better about yourself
And maybe after one time
You’ll do it without any help

One random act of kindness
Just one at a time
Can help change the world
And maybe even mankind

Influence those around you
To be just as nice
Treat others how you want to be treated
And things will change over time.

Hope you like it. I'm working on a song now. I've never actually written a song before, so we'll see how it goes. But for now, I hope you like it
