My theory was that you love me in a platonic way. Love is not always a force of wanting to share genes with someone, even if we are both men in this scenario, because you think they are attractive or because you want to spend the rest of your life with this person. You enjoy my company, you enjoy being around me, you enjoy yelling at me to clean up items around our shared flat. You share a flat with me not because you don’t have enough money, but because you enjoy me. You couldn’t stand me being gone, and I couldn’t stand to be away from you either. You would not want to leave me again, even if you know that you are a soldier. Therefore, you love me in a platonic way, not to get inside of me. -SH
