Someday Somehow

People are discontent with many things in their life. The way this looks, the way that looks, the way this feels, the way that moves. But very very few of those people will actually do anything about it. They'll complain about it the rest of their lives, in hopes of someone paying attention and fixing it for them. They might eventually let it go and learn to deal with it, but that doesn't happen very often.
There are those few people out there in the world who actually will do something about what they're unhappy about. They have the motivation and the drive to get out there and figure out a way to fix what's bugging them. These are the people we need in the world; they are our future. They will design something that can change people's lives, or at least parts of their lives. They are the innovators of tomorrow, the ones with the drive and motivation to do something vast and brilliant.
People do whatever they can to find the negatives or something wrong with something or someone; they can never just be content with what they've got. There just has to be something wrong. But again, the people who do this tend to never do anything about other than just complain.
It's like this: If you want something, go get it. Plain as that. Don't rely on other people to do things for you, only you know exactly how you want them done. So go do it the way you want it done.

It's Been Awhile

Wow, it's been what 8 months? I'm so sorry, I come and go with this blog. But at the end of the day I realize how much I love this blog.
Two words: communication breakdown. What do you think of when you hear those words? I think of how far we've fallen into the world of social media and smart phones. As humans we're losing the ability to communicate face-to-face. It's all about email, text, cell phone calls. What about in person, eye-to-eye contact? I can guarantee that my generation (from about age 10 to 20) cannot communicate face to face that well anymore. We prefer to send emails or text messages or leave voice mails. Smart phones and apps and the latest technology has made it so that we don't need to communicate face-to-face as much, so we don't. The world and the way we communicate is falling apart at the seams, and all we seem to do is make that tear bigger and bigger. We don't try fixing that problem; in fact we enhance it. Accentuate it. We're so engulfed in our technology that we can't even see what kind of problems it's causing for us and our way of life. What's it going to take for someone to notice this problem, and have enough ambition to fix it?
